Highly-rated Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Mensah has emerged as a summer target for top clubs in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The tireless defensive midfielder is enjoying an impressive debut season in North Africa, with his services for Egyptian top-flight Aswan SC side going unnoticed.
A close source told Sportsafric.com the player’s representatives have received offers from the unnamed clubs in Western Asia.
According to the source, Mensah still has a contract with Aswan SC until August 2021.
The 29-year-old has been one of the best performers for Aswan this season, always delivering in the heart of midfield.
Unfortunately for him, his displays has not been overshadowed by Aswan’s struggles.
They are fighting for survival as they sit 16th on the league log out of 18 clubs.
The club have been involved in 27 games and he has featured in 19 , assisting once and also helping them reach the Egypt Cup semi final for the first time.
He has been deployed in central defense which he excelled on many on occasions.
Mensah joined them from Lebanese outfit Sahel Al Shabab last year January.
He was a former skipper for Bechem United who played an integral role in their 2016 FA Cup truimph.
