Bukom crowned Champions of Greater Accra Regional Table Soccer Championship 

It was an electrifying atmosphere as Bukom defeated Weija (2:0) in the grand finale of the Greater Accra Regional Table Soccer Championship held in Bukom on Saturday.


Haven emerged as winners from their respective groups, Bukom saw off rivals Jamestown in the semi-finals with a 8:2 victory after two rounds to book a place in the final with Weija.

The Shooters of Weija eased past Ashaiman with a scintillating performance in both rounds of the semi-final clash.

The tournament’s top scorer, Jacob Koomson propelled his side to sweet wins over Mamprobi, (10:0), smashed Baatsona (10:0) and hammered Jamestown (8:2) conceding two goals in the group stages.

Youngsters Richard Comodor and Peter Lartey ensured the main trophy remained in Bukom following victories against Banana Inn, Ashaiman and Labadi in the group stages.

Richard Comodor was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) as Jacob Koomson took home the Top scorer plaque.
