Lethal Ghanaian forward Richard Zumah scored twice on Sunday evening to hand San Pedro FC a 2-0 victory over Société Omnisports de l’Armée in the Ivorian Ligue 1 Super Division round offs.
The home team were held to a goalless draw at the end of the first half and found the back of the net twice after recess.
Zumah opened the score for San Pedro in the 48th minute and doubled the advantage for his side in the 61st minute to mark his brace.
It was the seventh goal of the campaign in 11 appearances for the Ghanaian international.
The emphatic win sends San Pedro to the summit of the log with with three points after week one.
