Ghanaian swift winger Isaac Mensah came off the bench to score a screamer for Atlético Petroleos de Luanda in their magical 1-0 win over Academica Petroleos do Lobito in the Angola Girabola on Tuesday evening.
The former Hearts of Oak man joined the action in the 30th minute replacing injured Angolan international Pisca.
He made a quick impact two minutes after recess to score a long range effort from the centre circle after goalkeeper failed to make a good clearance of the ball.
The 25-year-old spotted the goalkeeper off his line and he shot from wide.
Following their exit from the CAF Champions League, the 15 time Girabola Champions are bent on breaking their trophy drought since they last won in 2009.
The win takes them to 2nd on the log with 31 points, two points behind leaders De Agosto after 14 games.
Mensah had made 8 appearances, scored two and assisted one.
Meanwhile, fellow compatriot Inusah Musah was out of action.
