Former Kumasi Asante striker, Mawuli Osei, has ‘crosscarpeted’ to Sebeta City FC in the Ethiopia Premiership.
Osei made the six-month-short-term move from Fasil Kenewa FC at the weekend after spending just a season.
The 31-year-old goal poacher has promised to make his presence count in his new club.
“I’m excited to be with Sebeta City and I promise to do everything possible to ensure we finish pretty well in the campaign,” he told the Times Sports yesterday.
Mawuli moved to Ethiopia in September 2018 joining Mekelle Kenema FC following his departure from Asante Kotoko SC.
He won the Ethiopian Championship with Mekelle in the 2018/2019 season where he scored 10 goals in 14 appearances.
Ahead of his sojourn in the East African country, the former Liberty Professionals forward had spent about five years in Israel before returning to Ghana in February 2018.
He played for Hapoel Ashkelon, Kirat Shmona, Hapoel Haifa, Hapoel Bnei Lod, Hapoel Nof HaGalil and Maccabi Shaaraim during his days in Israel.
