Suzzy Dede Teye named WPL NASCO Player of the Month of February

Lady Strikers winger Suzzy Dede Teye has been named the NASCO Player of the Month of February in the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL).

She performed creditably by playing all three games in the month under review and scored four goals and won the NASCO Player of the Match once in the process.

She beats competition from Ampem Darkoa Ladies’ Patience Peterson Kundok, Northern Ladies’ Rahama Jafar and Hasaacas Ladies’ Janet Egyir.

Head Coach of Ampem Darkoa Ladies Nana Joe Adarkwa won the Coach of the Month category.

Coach Adarkwa was shortlisted alongside three other coaches namely Yusif Basigi of Hasaacas Ladies, Rashid Iddi of Lady Strikers and Charles Anokye Frimpong of Kumasi Sports Academy for the coveted award.

For his reward, he took home a NASCO 42 inch TV set and a trophy while the Player of the Month received a NASCO 32 inch TV set and a trophy.
