Ghanaian winger Francis Cann continued with his impressive form for FC Vizela as they defeated Academica 3-0 away in the Portuguese LigaPro on Saturday afternoon.
The swift winger was on the scoresheet scoring the second in their comfortable win.
Brazilian forward Cassiano Dias Moreira handed the visitors an early lead in the 7th minute with a decent free kick.
Cann doubled the lead with the second goal six minutes on at the Estádio EFAPEL before Portuguese midfielder Fabinho pulled one back on the 30th minute to make it 1-2 for the home team.
With two minutes to the first half break, Samu added the third to seal victory for Vizela who sit fourth with six points behind leaders Estoril Praia after 24 games.
The former Charity Stars product has scored five times in 24 appearances for Vizela.
He was replaced by Tavinho with eight minutes to full time while fellow compatriot Richard Ofori lasted the entire duration in the heart of defense for the visiting team.
