Swansea City suffer home defeat to Bristol City as André Ayew nets 10th goal of the season

Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew registered his name on the score sheet for Swansea City in their 1-3 home defeat to Bristol City in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Despite being held goalless by Bristol City at the end of the first half, Swansea City took the lead ten minutes into the second half through talisman Ayew who scored from a spot-kick to make it 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

However, the visitors fought back and powered three goals with the equaliser coming from Nahki Wells on the 66th minute.

With ten minutes to end proceedings, Kasey Palmer shocked the hosts with Bristol’s second before substitute Antoine Selorm Semenyo finished it off with the third goal in 90th minute as the Swans recorded their sixth defeat of season.

The 31-year- old has found the back of the net 10 times and provided two assists in 30 appearances.
