Italian-born Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi was the hero of the day as his double ensured Spezia fought back after two goals down to draw 2-2 at the Stadion Alberto Picco in the Italian Serie A on Saturday.
The visitors strike first after dominating the early stages of the game. It was Ivorian-born French forward Yann Karamoh who fired home the opener for Parma in the 17th minute.
However, the visitors doubled their lead eight minutes later through Brazilian midfielder Junior Hernani.
Spezia came back stronger in the second and minutes later, their efforts paid off through Emmanuel Gyasi who pulled one back in the 52nd minute.
The 27-year- old went to fetch the well-deserved leveller for the hosts in the 72nd minute to make it 2-2 at the end of the game.
Gyasi has scored four goals and contributed four assists in 24 appearances for Spezia in the ongoing season.
