Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Teye Partey returned from injury to help Arsenal cruised over Newcastle United with an emphatic 3-0 win at the Emirates Stadium on Monday.
Partey command his place in the starting line up following this return where he set up Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score Arsenal’s opener before he made way for Mohammed Elneny on the 67th minute.
The versatile midfielder formed a swift partnership with Granit Xhaka in midfield to assist Aubameyang fired The Gunners in the lead on the 50th minute after a barren first half.
Talented winger Bukayo Saka added the second on the 60th minute before Aubameyang finished it off with the third goal to register his brace and fifth goal of the season.
The 27-year- old has made seven appearances for the North London based side since his €50 million move in the summer from Atletico Madrid.
