Ghanaian winger Winger David Atanga has officially joined Austrian Bundesliga side for FC Admira Wacker Mödling until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian, who is contractually bound to KSV Holstein until June 30th, 2022, came to the Kiel Fjord from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2019 and played a total of 20 games for the storks.
“In joint discussions we came to the decision that for David the move to Admira Wacker in the first Austrian league is the right step at this point in time,” explains Managing Director Sport Uwe Stöver.
“We hope that the loan will give David the necessary match practice and take the next steps in his development.
“David Atanga adds: “I know the Austrian league and am looking forward to the opportunity and new challenge.
It is very important for me to play regularly. That’s why Admira Wacker is a good option for me until summer.
I wish all the best to my Kiel team for the next few months. ”
FC Flyeralarm Admira is currently twelfth in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The team of coach Damir Buric will play their next game at SKN St. Pölten on Saturday, January 23rd.
