Ghanaian right back Eric Owusu recorded an assist in the Ndola Derby when Buildcon FC defeated Indeni FC 1-0 in the Zambian Super League on Saturday.
The Kopalas grabbed a late 82nd strike through Zambian forward Brian Mwila who rose high to connect perfectly from Owusu’s header to seal their fourth victory of the campaign.
The former Bechem United player who doubles as the skipper of the side put up an impressive display with his runs and lasted the entire duration.
The win moves Buildcon to 3rd on the league log with 21 points in 13 games with Owusu playing a key role in all games.
Fellow compatriot Emmanuel Okutu also featured for Buildcon FC.
