Experienced centre back John Boye denied OGC Nice from snatching all three points after his late strike earned FC Metz a point at Stade Saint-Symphorien in a 1-1 stalemate in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday.
Boye on the 79th minute rose high to head home the equaliser for the home side after French international Amine Ferid Gouiri had given the visitors the lead on the 18th through a penalty kick.
The Ghanaian international was instrumental for his side and he lasted the entire duration.
The 33-year- old defender who doubles as the skipper of the side has made 17 appearance and scored one.
