King Faisal tipped for relegation according to data and research firm ASC

Private data, research and technology firm, African Sports Centre (ASC), has revealed through their 2020 Ghana Premier League Report that Kumasi-based King Faisal is tipped to be relegated after the 2020/2031 Ghana Premier League season.

According to the report, King Faisal top the list of clubs likely to exit the competition with 17%, followed by Cape Coast-based Ebusua Dwarfs pulling 10% and Great Olympics with 9%.

The research was conducted before the start of the Ghana Premier season as data was collected from all districts across the length and breadth in all the 16 regions in Ghana.

Unsurprisingly, Faisal are 17th on the league log with five points after seven games – having won just a game in more than 20 matches from last season, while Olympics occupy the sixth position with 11 points.

Many believe that their poor performance could see them wave goodbye to the Premier League especially with what they displayed during the the truncated season. Their nemesis has continued to the current season as their head coach Slavisa Bozicic was shown the exit door together with his entire backroom staff.

They will face wounded Bechem United who were battered 6-1 by Hearts of Oak at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday.
