Majeed Warris scores late in Strasbourg 5-0 win over Nimes

It was all smiles for Ghanaian forward Majeed Warris as he found the back of the net to end his goal drought following Strasbourg’s emphatic 5-0 win over Nimes in the French Ligue1 on Wednesday.

Replacing Ludovic Ajorque on the 73rd minute, Warris announced his presence when he scored from a spot kick on the 90th minute to hand his side a well-deserved victory at the Stade de la Meinau.

French forward Ludovic Ajorque broke the virginity of the game on the 36th minute and added his brace and his side’s second on the 51st minute.

Kenny Lala and Senegalese international Habibou Diallo both scored on the 38th and 45th minutes respectively to make it 4-0.

The former Right to Dream (RTD) product climbed off the bench to register his first goal of the campaign after 11 games.

However, compatriot Alexander Djiku lasted the entire duration of the game.
