Head coach for Aduana Stars, Paa Kwesi Fabin, has revealed he is satisfied with the draw he picked against King Faisal on match day 2 at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
Aduana were playing their first game of the season after their season opener against Hearts of Oak was called off by the FA due to COVID-19 issues, while King Faisal nearly drew parity in their opening fixture against WAFA after losing 4-3.
Nonetheless, the visitors scored the opening goal through goal poacher Yahaya Mohammed two minutes to end the first half before Frimpong Boateng cancelled the lead on the 73rd minute to end the tie 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Paa Kwesi Fabin, after the game, claimed to pick a point from three points is a satisfying result than going home with nothing.
“Both teams did well,” Paa Kwesi Fabin told reporters in a post-match conference.
“The standards were quite high and at the end of the day everyone had a point.
“I am satisfied but I can’t say same for King Faisal but I am satisfied with the results.”
When asked whether he was impressed with the performance of his team, Paa Kwesi replied by saying;
“It was not the way as I wanted it but if we are walking away with a point, I will humbly accept it,” he said.
Aduana returns to their favourite grounds on match day 3 at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa as they host Bechem United in a regional derby.
