Eleven Wonders pulled the bull by the horn as they snatched a well deserved point against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday following their 1-1 draw in the first round of the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko took the lead through new boy Kwame Opoku on the 52nd minute with a superb strike before substitute Prince Okraku snatched the much needed goal on the 78th minute for Wonders who travel back to Techiman with a point.
However, Speaking to Sportsafric.com, the on-loan Dreams FC forward Prince Okraku expressed his joy scoring his first goal against Kotoko after he replaced Adu Boahen in the second half.
‘I’m very excited to score against a big club like Kotoko and this will motivate me to work hard as the season goes by.
‘I want to keep scoring in every game I play and come Friday against Ebusua Dwarfs, I will do same.
He also spoke about his expectations and for the club.
‘Our target this season is to avoid relegation and be among the top 10 , for me as a player, I don’t want to seize scoring and I hope to hit 15 goals at the end of the season.’ He stressed.
Okraku joined Wonders on transfer deadline and has since impressed coach Ignatius Osei during preseason.
He also had a short stint with Israeli side Beitar Tel-Aviv in 2019.
