Asante Kotoko torn between Justice Blay and Muniru Sulley

It’s decision time – and Asante Kotoko will have to decide whether to sign Medeama’s midfielder Justice Blay or Muniru Sulley, the younger brother of Sulley Ali Muntari – whereas the club is currently in a dilemma on which player to choose to complete their final puzzle ahead of the new season.

According to a media report filed Kumasi-based Otec FM, the management is currently undecided on which player to go for before the domestic transfer window shuts in some few days time.

Deep sources have revealed that, head Maxwell Konadu prefers Justice to Sulley and has told the management to secure his services for him – while they should only look at Sulley as a backup plan if Blay’s pursuit fails.

However, the transfer fee quoted by Medeama has left Kotoko persistently knocking on their doors for a reduction.

The Yellow and Mauves have reportedly told Kotoko they will only demand full payment once an agreement is meant, whereas the Porcupine Warriors are willing to honour the deal in an instalment package.

Meanwhile, Kotoko has completed a two-year deal for 28-year-old Brazilian Fabio dos Santos Gama to provide stiff competition in the team’s midfield.
