Edward Sarpong nets second goal in Esperanca’s 1-1 draw with Vitória Sebutal

Ghana’s Edward Sarpong was on the score sheet again for CF Esperanca Lagos in their 1-1 stalemate with Vitoria de Setubal in the Portuguese Campeonato.

The Black Meteors (U-23) left back opened the scoring for his side in the 35th but Vitória snatched the equaliser through Rodrigo Mathiola in the 75th minute.

Sarpong has scored two goals in two games in the ongoing campaign.

He made 14 appearances for Lagos last season and was a member of Ghana’s Black Meteors team that lost in the semis to Ivorian Coast in last year’s U23 AFCON.
