Yahaya Mohammed’s move to Ashanti Gold 99% done

The purported move of Aduana Stars’ marksman Yahaya Mohammed to Obuasi Ashanti Gold is 99% done according to media reports.

According to a report filed by Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, talks between the two clubs have reached an advanced stage with few minute details left to be completed before the former Asante Kotoko attacker can put pen to paper.

It will be recalled that club legend and coach Thomas Duah recently revealed to the public talks are going as expected and his outfit is looking at completing the deal ahead of their continental duties in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Yahaya comes in with enormous experience and will be a great addition to the Miners in their quest to conquer Africa and domestically claim the Ghana Premier League – having bagged 11 goals in 14 matches in the just cancelled 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League.

In view of this, Ashanti Gold have completed a routine medical, followed by COVID-19 test on all the playing body and staff which later came out as negative.

For competitiveness sake, the Miners have pruned down their squad by showing five senior players the exit door in other to make room for new addition.
