Hearts should have agreed to the demands of Joseph Esso – Ex-Hearts defender Benjamin Agyare

Clubless centre back Benjamin Agyare has expressed his grievances of how fellow teammate Joseph Esso made his ay of the club.

The 2004 CAF Confederations Cup winners last Friday released six players of which included Benjamin Agyare and star man Joseph Esso.

The most surprising was the exit of Joseph Esso, who to many was Hearts of Oak’s best player and poster boy and thus management should have found a way to tie him down.

The former Hearts of Lions player, Benjamin Agyare shared his thoughts on Esso’s exit and believes that even if the former Ebusua Dwarfs forward demanded ¢1 billion, his demands should have been met.

“Even if Joseph Esso wanted 1 billion a month, Hearts should have agreed. Esso is a fantastic player and an important player to the club,” he disclosed to Accra-based Angel 102.9FM.

“I am really amazed at how they let a player with the caliber of Joseph Esso go. In fact he was very disappointed at the outcome of the meeting.”

Asante Kotoko and Ashgold could make a shocking move for the Black Stars B forward.
