New Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has appealed to all stakeholders of the club to offer him maximum support in a bid to make club great again.
The former Phar Rangers director replaces George Amoako as CEO of the Porcupine Warriors and will help make realisable the vision of the club’s board.
The enormity of the task ahead according to Nana Yaw Amponsah means he will need the total support of all who have the club at heart to be able to deliver.
The former Ghana FA Presidential hopeful in his acceptance speech during his unveiling spoke about leaving a legacy at the club.
“If you hire a Mason to put up a building for you, you have to do all you can to ensure that you give him the support to put up a very good edifice that could last for generations to come,” Nana Yaw Amponsah mentioned.
“Otherwise when he’s done and leaves one day, you will be the one living in that building,” he continued.
“You must give me all the support I need so that I can help build an edifice that will go beyond boundaries,” he concluded.
Expectations will soar as most Kotoko followers expect the astute football administrator to bring to bare his expertise in transforming the club’s fortunes.
