Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has bid farewell to fellow Premier League giant Berekum Chelsea after returning to his parent club following his loan expiration.
The former Ghana U17 shoot-stopper was shipped out on loan to the Berekum-based club during the 2019/2020 Premier League season, but has made a comeback to the Porcupines after the outbreak of covid-19 forced the FA to cancel the league.
In view of this, Danlad has sent an emotional farewell to the Bibires – thanking them for the nice opportunity to serve the club and wishing them all the best in the foreseeable future.
“Thank you Berekum Chelsea for the love and support during my loan stint Berekum. We were destined to complete the season successfully but it didn’t end the way #Bibires wanted it to. I am proud to have been part of this amazing football club. I wish you all the best, see you soon in the upcoming season.”
The youngster will be facing a stiffer competition to become Kotoko’s first choice after the exploits of former Ghana U23 goalkeeper Kwame Baah has displaced first-choice and team captain Felix Annan to the bench.
