Ghanaian versatile defender Joseph Attamah Larweh will play in next season’s Turkish Super Lig with Fatih Karagumruk following their promotion.
The Istanbul based club will stage a return to the top-flight after 37 years defeating Adana Demispor 6-5 via penalty shootouts on Thursday evening.
Turkish international Cagri Ortakaya fired home the opener in the 40th minute to give Fatih the lead but a 69th minute goal from Pa Amat Dibba drew level as the game ended 1-1 after extra time.
The former Tema Youth player converted his spot kick to ensure Fatih emerged victorious.
Attamah has made 14 appearances and recorded an assist since he joined in January 2020.
He previously played for Istanbul Basaksehir and Caykur Rizespor.
