Communication Officer of King Faisal, Awal Mohammed, believes the business plans of new Executive Chairman George Amoako will help attract investors to their fold to become an enviable economic brand.
Amoako held his first meeting on his return to the club with the club’s management on Thursday at their secretariat, where he announced his plans and modus operandi on how he seeks to uplift the team and change their fortunes – pinning them to the pinnacle of world football.
In attendance were Vice-Chairman Alhaji Kamil, Chief Executive Officer of the club Anwar Sadat, Vice-Chairman Nana Amankwah and the Communication Officer as well.
According to Awal, Amoako has vowed to allow all structures at the club to work independently devoid of any interference and further strengthen the various channels of the club.
“What George Amoako told us in our maiden meeting shows he will be injecting new life into King Faisal,” Awal told Kumasi-based Otec FM.
“I believe with time and support from the management and the supporters, he will bring back the glory days of the club and even go beyond that.
“He [George Amoako] indicates that every department will play it’s role without any interference.
“He has in addition lined up many plans which will raise the team to a standard in which companies will love to do business with us,” he added.
After meeting the management members on Thursday, the former Asante Kotoko CEO will be meeting with the head of the technical team Slavisa Bozicic on Friday.
