Manchester United transfer news is coming thick and fast ahead of the transfer window and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a four-man shortlist of defenders he’s considering targeting.
The club has a four-man shortlist of defenders they could target this summer including Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reports.
While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s priority target remains Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho there could also be changes at the back next season.
According to The Independent, Solskjaer is mulling over whether to sign a striker, another central midfielder or a new central defender alongside Sancho.
And the former Molde boss already has some names in mind ahead of the transfer window opening.
Long-standing transfer target Koulibaly is on his radar with United having been constantly linked with a move for the Senegal international in previous years.
Napoli have always played hardball over his value but following the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, his initial price tag of £100m could now be closer to the £70m mark.
