Asante Kotoko Board of Directors on Friday visited the training facility at Adako Jachie and the Anane Boateng Stadium in Abrankese, a stadia used by formerly Kessben FC, now Medeama SC.
According to a media reportage, the board held an intense meeting in the morning before visiting the team’s training grounds at 2 pm in the afternoon, with information reaching SportsAfric.com claims they have agreed to compete in Africa.
After touring the venue and chit-chatting among themselves, they then turned their attention to Abrankese to inspect the abandoned stadium previously used by Kessben FC.
Responding to media reports on why the visit to these facilities, if they are motivated by the decision to compete in Africa, board member Alhaji Lamine said;
“We are visiting the Adako Jachie and the Anane Boateng Stadium, Abrankese to take a good decision as a board for Kotoko.
“The Adako Jachie pitch is good but the structures need a facelift,” he said.
According to Lamine, the board is bent on putting up proper structures to match the image the club has garnered over the years, as well as leaving a proper legacy for the club.
The board later inspected the club’s secretariat before bringing their inspection to a close.
