Gibraltar side Europa FC announce signing of Ghanaian attacker Kwadwo Poku

Gibraltar top-flight side Europa FC has confirmed the signing of Ghanaian international Kwadwo Poku.

The former New York City joined the lads Green and White lads on a free transfer in the ongoing transfer window.

The 28-year-old has been unattached parting ways with Tampa Bay in December 2019 after spending eight years playing the MLS.

The club took to twitter to announce the signing.

“Europa FC is delighted to announce the signing of Ghanaian international Kwadwo Poku.”

Kwadwo has played for New York City FC and Miami FC in the MLS alongside legends of the game such as David Villa and Andrea Pirlo, and more recently with Anzhi in Russia.

He is expected to official make his debut on July 1st and also add his rich experience to the side as they urge closer to clinch 8th title since they last won it in 2016/2017.

Poku has made two appearances for the senior national team of Ghana.
