Ex-Hearts of Oak winger Isaac Mensah extends stay with Petro de Luanda till 2022

Ex-Hearts of Oak player Isaac Mensah has been given two years contract extension by Angolan side Petro de Luanda as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

Following his arrival in 2018 from Hearts of Oak, the swift winger has been an integral member of Toni Cassano’s side helping them place second in the Girobola with three points behind Champions De’ Agosto.

Isaac continued with his impressive performance for his side prior to the 2019/2020 season which has seen his stay extended to 2022.

Petro is hoping to win the Girobola title for the record 16th time since they last won it in 2009.

Before the league was suspended in March due to Covid-19, Petro was on top of the league table with 54 points from 24 games with 6 games to spare.

Isaac made 20 appearances in all competitions with 3 goals for his side in the 2019/2020 season.
