I will work hard to earn enough playing time – Kelvin Andoh

Asante Kotoko winger Maxwell Kelvin Andoh has vowed to put in extra work to earn more playing time with the Porcupine Warriors.

The talented winger who joined from WA All Stars featured in the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup under former gaffer Kjetil Zachariassen.

But untill recently, he has failed to enjoy more playing time under new Coach Maxwell Konadu before the suspension of the Ghana Premier League.

With the pandemic which has seen all sporting activities suspended in Ghana has left footballers to keep fit in their various homes.

The one-time darling boy of Kotoko has vowed to fight for a starting berth at Kotoko when the league resumes.

“Football is full of uncertainties. I played several games during our Africa campaign and even scored. Unfortunately, we could not progress in the Champions League and the Confederation Cup and the coach was sacked.”

“I would not say that affected me. But every coach has his style of play and what he requires from players. I have played a few games under Coach Maxwell Konadu but I still want more. I have to push myself harder to get there.”

“The competition for places has become intense and the best thing to do now is to fight harder. Everything depends on me. I am working hard in this break and hopefully, things will change when football resumes”, he told Kotoko Express.
