With all football activities currently suspended in Ghana, Owner of King Faisal Football Club Abdul Karim Gruzah wants the Ghana Football Association to help clubs during the Covid-19.
The Bankroller of the side is is demanding an amount of $150,000 from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as a condition for games to be played behind closed doors.
Alhaji Gruzah who was one of the advocates for the cancellation of the league due to Covid-19 says he is ready to partake in the league if the GFA should meet his demands.
With the Bundesliga currently ongoing with all remaining games played behind closed doors,most people are of the view that the GFA should emulate same as unconfirmed sources reports.
But Alhaji believes Ghana does not have what it takes should the green light be given.
“I’m the first person to speak the cancellation of the season when this COVID 19 came into existence.
“We are heading towards June so when can we finish the season and start a new season. Its impossible. Countries like Angola,Ethiopia etc have canceled their season, so why don’t we do the same.
“Germany is playing empty stadium, but the clubs have big sponsors, what about the GPL?
“You have no idea the amount of debts I have incurred in the running King Faisal,” he further stated.
