Asante Kotoko prodigy Matthew Anim-Cudjoe has admitted that he is ripe and ready for the Black Stars under Coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor.
The former Young Apostles FC player who joined the Porcupine Warriors on a season loan deal took the suspended Ghana Premier League by storm with his pace and dazzling skills.
Despite making his debut in the Ghana Premier League, the 17-year-old winger says he is ever ready to honour an invitation.
” I have played for the Under-20 before and I did very well. I am ready to play for the Black Stars,” He told Asempa FM
“It’s not about age. It’s about mentality. I know they will call me.
“I want him (C.K Akonnor) to call me. I have confidence that he will call me to play for the Black Stars”
He managed to score his debut goal for Kotoko against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Match Day 5 coming on an a substitute.
Under the management of Ghanaian ‘Legend’ Asamoah Gyan, he was invited by German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich for a two-weeks trials.
