Abel Manomey has joined the list of Ghanaian footballers to partake in the campaign against the deadly pandemic Coronavirus.
Due to the wide spread of the virus which has taken lots of lives, all football activities around the world has been suspended without the exemption of Ghana.
The last few days has seen Ghana’s case rise to 318 with 6 deaths.
Abel currently pursuing Master of Philosophy in Health Physical Education Recreation and Sports at the University of Education advised Ghanaians to keep fit as it helps improve their immune system, frequent use of hand sanitizers and always stay home as stated by President Nana Akuffo Addo.
He holds the record for the most goals in the Ghana Universities Sports Association Games (GUSA) where he scored 10 goals in 10 games in this year’s edition and he holds the record for most goals scored in GUSA games with a total of 39 goals in 35 games.
The 28-year-old forward is currently
unattached after parting ways with Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics prior to the start of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League.
