Hearts of Oak, according to rumours has presented Karela United’s duo Emmanuel Keyeke and Diawisie Taylor names to the club’s board as they seek to tie down the deal before the close of the transfer window.
Amid the widespread of the ‘coronavirus’ leading to the suspension of the Ghana Premier League, clubs are busily tying down deals in the background with Hearts of Oak keeping themselves busy by augmenting their squad.
Keyeke has wowed many in the heart of Karela’s midfield despite their poor form in the league – producing solid performances anything he is given the opportunity feature for the Akoon-based club and Hearts believe he will be a perfect addition to their fold.
Obuasi-based Ashanti Gold is rumoured to have expressed interest in signing Keyeke and will have to enter into a bidding war with Hearts as they both chase his signature.
On the other hand, goal poacher Diawisie Taylor, despite failing to bang in goals has appeared strongly on the Phobians radar as they seek to solve their goal-scoring problems.
Head coach Edward Nii Odoom is seeking to create competition among the attacking line – having already signed Abednego Tetteh to add to Kofi Kordji and Joseph Esso.
According to rumours, Hearts are also interested in Inter Allies forward Victorien Adebayor, who leads the goal king race with 12 goals and Liberty Professional defender Michael Ampadu.
