GPL Match Report: Liberty Professionals 2-3 Inter Allies- Capelli boys silence Scientific soccer lads in Dansoman

After picking up a draw against Hearts of Oak on Match Day 14, The Capelli boys returned to winning ways after a hard earned 3-2 win over Liberty Professionals on Match Day 14 at the Carl Reindorf Park on Thursday.

‪The visitors were quick to announce their presence with good strikes from Victorien Adebayor and Samuel Armarh.

Inter Allies pulled first blood through Samuel Armarh on the 24th minute taking his tally to six goals.

The visiting team continued to soak pressure for the second as their efforts paid two minutes later through skipper Victorien Adebayor to make it two.

His eleventh of the season same with Aduana’s Yahaya Mohammed.

With four minutes to the end of the first half, ‪George William Ansong with a very fine finish pulled one back for Liberty as Inter Allies led 2-1 at the end of the first half.

‪Liberty pushed more men forward and were rewarded with their immense pressure, a well-worked build up was finished brilliantly by George William Ansong registering his brace on the day.

‪The game became very balanced but Allies looked hungrier in search of a third.

Richmond Lamptey was awarded a penalty on the 75th minute after he was fouled in the box.

Victorien Adebayor could have made it three for Allies but his kick was well saved by the goalkeeper.

‪All hope was not lost for Inter Allies as Mohammed Zakari slotted home with a cool finish in the additional time to seal a well deserved victory for Inter Allies
