Dr Kwaku Frimpong President of Ghanaian Premier League side Ashantigold SC has resigned his role after angry fans of the club reigned abusive words on him.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Fox FM in an exclusive interview, he stated that he could not render his services to the club anymore following the attitude of the fans after they lost to Bechem United on Match Day 14 at the Len Clay by a lone goal
Kwaku Frimpong ” I thank everyone at Ashgold for the opportunity to lead the club. The fans should take their club now. I cannot continue to be president anymore and yesterday what the fans did, I say enough is enough. ” He told Fox FM on Thursday morning.
He took the decision to announce his exit after the strident behavior from the fans.
