Match Report: Aduana Stars 1-0 Kotoko- Samuel Bioh’s last gasp strike sinks Porcupine Warriors

In their quest to bounce back from their heavy defeat against Liberty Professionals last weekend, The Ogya Boys at home against The Porcupine Warriors were optimistic of returning to winning ways on Match Day 11.

Samuel Bioh’s late winner seals victory for Aduana Stars return to winning ways.

The host was the first to create scoring opportunities as forward Yahaya Mohammed and Bright Adjei came close in the first 10 minutes but failed to get the target.

Kotoko responded quickly through William Opoku Mensah after his header went over the bar as his effort was ruled offside on the 15th minute.

Agyemang Badu of Kotoko was booked for a bad tackle on the 17th minute as Justice Annane of Aduana Stars was also shown a yellow card after a rough tackle on Christopher Nettey on the 18th minute.

Early changes from Aduana on the 20th minute as Charles Kamara came on for Bright Adjei.

Sam Adam saw his left foot effort went off target after feeding on a pass from William Opoku on the 25th minute.

Kotoko received the second booking as William Opoku after a block on Yahaya Mohammed on the 34th minute.

Goalkeeper Kwame Baah was quick to react after Samuel Bioh of Aduana sent in a cross on the 42nd minute.

The last chance fell to Elvis Opoku at the edge of the penalty box but his effort went over the bar after Emmanuel Gyamfi caused a foul and was shown a yellow card in the dying embers of the first half.

The second half started brightly for Aduana as Yahaya Mohammed came close but a timely intervention from Agyemang Badu to deny the host.

Kotoko came close through Sam Adams but defender Caleb Amankwah sent the ball out of play for a corner on the 57th minute.

Emmanuel Gyamfi made way for Augutine Okrah on the 60th minute as Kotoko made their first substitution

Martin Antwi could have put the Porcupine Warriors in front but his cross was sent out of play on the 66th minute.

Kotoko made their second change as Naby Keita came on for William Opoku on the 74th minute.

Elvis Opoku came close for Aduana after he pounces on a loose ball but effort went wide on the 75th minute.

Goalkeeper Kwame Baah was other on time to have a firm grip of the ball after a free kick on the 85th minute.

Maxwell Baakoh came on for Sam Adams with 4 minute to end the game.

One might though the game will end in a goalless draw but with a minute to go in the additional 4 minutes, Samuel Bioh sent the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa wild after his late strike sinks Kotoko as Aduana earned all three points.
