GTV to telecast live Hearts and Kotoko UK game

The encounter between bitter rivals Accra Hearts and Asante Kotoko which will be played outside the shores of Ghana will be live on the nation’s television network GTV.


The game which will be played in the United Kingdom will be live via GTV Sports Plus where football lovers of both sides and fans who can’t afford to make the trip will get to enjoy.


The game is scheduled to kick off at the Barnet Stadium in London on 7 March, 2020 to commemorate this year’s Independence Day Celebration where Ghana will turn 63.


Ghana’s two biggest clubs will lock horn and this initiative is spearheaded by Proball Int Limited.


Speaking at the launch of the game, George Lomotey, Manager of GTV Sports+ Channel at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation said “We are committed to bringing the best to Ghanaian’s and will show the game live on GTV and GTV Sports+ with the best of coverage”.


The game has been sanctioned by both the Ghana Football Association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
