Ghanaian Nana Ampomah scored his second goal of the season for his side Fortuna Düsseldorf as they pounced heavily on FC Kaiserslautern in the German DFP Pokal by 2-5 away from home.
The 24-year-old opened the scores for the away side nine minutes into the game but his early strike was quickly cancelled by Christian Kühlwetter a minute later.
23-year-old Christian added a second for the home side six minutes to recess from the spot-kick as they led 2-1.
Back from the break, Rouwen Hennings beautifully connected in a non-drop shot from the the box following a cross from the right side of attack four minutes into the game to draw level pegging.
On the 65th minute, Ampomah sent in a long teasing cross after beating his marker to far right which was met by Mathias Zimmermann’s header to shoot the visitors into the lead for the second time in the game.
Hennings added the fourth goal before former Vfl Bochum player Kevin Stöger completed the thumping with the fifth goal.
