Eric Ocansey scored his second successive goal for KV Kortrijk as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by KV Oostende in the Belgian League on match day six.
Ocansey, 22, who scored in last week’s 2-1 defeat to Standard Liège and was on the score sheet once again as his side surrendered their 2-1 lead to draw two all at home.
The former Eupen winger cancelled out Guinean Idrissa Sylla’s first half goal on the 67th minute, before Julien De Sart’s teasing free-kick eluded everyone in the box including the goalkeeper and went straight into the net to make it 2-1 five minutes later.
However, the home side failed to hold on to the lead, allowing Oostende to equalise from the spot with a minute to full time.
After scoring two goals in 31 appearance last season, Eric, currently has two goals in five games and could be enjoying one of the best seasons in terms of scoring for Kortrijk.
