REPORTS: Osei Kuffour set to replace lawyer Duah-Adonteng on the Normalization Committee

Former Board Member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Osei Kuffour is set to replace lawyer Duah-Adonteng on the Normalization Committee (NC), as FIFA is taking steps to reconstitute the body responsible for bringing Ghana football back ion its toes.

According to grapevine sources, chairman of the committee Dr Kofi Amoah has written to FIFA complaining of the attitude of the aforementioned layer, whose commitment to services has been poor among the four-member committee – turning up late and sometimes don’t show up at all during meetings. The world’s football governing body has in-turn replied the NC and assured them of their full support with a possible replacement.

In view of this, Samuel Osei Kuffuor is being lined up to replace embattled lawyer Adonteng on the four-member committee. The set-up after the changes remain Dr Kofi Amoah (President), Miss Lucy Quist (Vice), with Osei Kuffuor and Naa Odofoley Nortey as members of the committee.

Moreover, FIFA is set to extend the NC’s original date of 31st March of bringing their work to end to a date yet to be announced.
