Official: Hearts of Oak part ways with Coach Kim Tyrone Grant

Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with Coach and Technical Director, Kim Tyrone Grant.

Two defeats in a row for Grant in a space of one week raised alarm of his exit by management and fans.

The club also had a poor run during some pre-season games.

The club took to their Twitter handle to confirm “Accra Hearts of Oak and Director of Football Kim Grant have parted ways.

Edward Nii Odoom takes over with immediate effect as the head coach.

The club would like to ask for continuous support for Coach Odoom and we wish Coach Grant the very best in his future endeavours.”

Edward Nii Odoom will now act as interim coach  for Hearts.

A decade ago (2009) saw Hearts winning their last trophy but the Phobians are optimistic of ending their ten years trophy drought targeting the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League but believes Kim can’t help solve the crises.
